Order of Omega Welcomes New RCD

ARLINGTON, TX, January, 2023 — Order of Omega, an international honorary organization recognizing
fraternity men and sorority women who have attained a high standard of leadership, service, and scholarship since 1959, is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Regional Chapter Director (RCD) for our Western region. 

Marina currently serves as the Associate Director for Sorority & Fraternity Life at the University of California, San Diego.  Previously, Marina was the Assistant Director for Sorority & Fraternity Life at the University of California, Irvine.  In her time at UC Irvine, Marina also served as the Interim Director for Sorority & Fraternity Life. 

Marina is a current doctoral student in Education, Higher Education Leadership at Azusa Pacific University.  Her area of research: supporting Multiracial Professionals in Higher Education.  Her expected graduation date is May, 2023. 

In 2022, Marina was the proud recipient of the Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values (AFLV) “Change Maker Professional of the Year” award. 

Marina obtained her Bachelor of Arts, Communication degree at San Diego State University, and her Master of Arts, Higher Education Leadership at the University of San Diego.  Marina is a member of Upsilon Kappa Delta Multicultural Sorority, Inc.
