About Our Chapter of the Year Award
This award (also known as our Outstanding Chapter award) recognizes Order of Omega chapters that excel in scholarship, embrace a diverse membership, and actively promote a positive image within their fraternity/sorority community, the campus community, and in their local community. We believe every chapter is worthy of recognition for their commitment to upholding the positive values of fraternity/sorority life.
Four (4) Order of Omega chapters are selected annually as Chapter of the Year Recipients. The award (an Order of Omega plaque) is presented at each recipient’s respective regional conference (i.e., AFLV Central, SGLA, NGLA, or AFLV West). We strongly encourage every chapter to apply!
CHAPTER OF THE YEAR AWARD CRITERIA
The Order of Omega chapter must be an active chapter and in good financial standing with the international headquarters.
The Order of Omega chapter must provide a letter of support from an Order of Omega advisor.
** A reminder that this award is for programs and initiatives done by the chapter during the 2024-2025 year (last year). **
